The Arab Coalition backing Yemen welcomed the Yemeni government's acceptance of ceasefire calls by the UN Secretary General to unify the efforts against the global pandemic of coronavirus.
The spokesman of the Coalition's Combined Forces Col Turki al-Maliki said in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency that the "Combined Forces support the efforts of the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Yemen towards ceasing fire, de-escalation and taking practical measures toward confidence building in the economic and humanitarian fields."
