Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nagib al-Aweg announced Monday that the World Bank (WB) and International Fincace Cooperation (IFC) have allocated $2.7 million in assistance for Yemen to help the Yemeni government controlling coronavirus.
Al-Aweg and the Executive Director of the WB Merza Hassab discussed via internet the allocated assistance after the Yemeni government had asked the WB and IFC to support its efforts aiming to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and its social and economic implications.
