MARIB - SABA
The Minister of Local Administer and chief of the national Supreme Commission for Relief Aid Abduraqeeb Fatah said on Wednesday the government-held city of Marib in Yemen's east has become the safe haven for most of the country's internally displaced persons.
In a meeting with MPs and relief aid officials from across the country here today, Fatah said the local authorities of all Yemeni provinces need to assist the local authorities of Marib in following up on the conditions of the IDPs.
The Houthis have forced and still force tens of thousands of families to leave the violent theocratic militia's areas of control to government-held areas especially the city of Marib.
