Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr.Najeeb Al-Awj appreciated the efforts exerted by donor organizations and institutions in assisting Yemen in the humanitarian field, looking forward to more development aid help provide basic services, create job opportunities for the youth and helping to reduce unemployment in the country.
In a meeting with representatives of a number of international organizations and donor institutions in the Jordanian capital today, Minister Al-Awj reviewed the the economic, developmental and humanitarian scene in Yemen and the government's efforts to normalize the situation and chart a road map for the establishment of a state based on the rule of law and good governance.
He touched on the government's priorities in reconstruction and economic recovery in the development fields, especially in the sectors of education, health, social protection and enhancing productivity and self-sufficiency in the agriculture and fish production.
