Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Brakani held a meeting Wednesday in Berlin with the Council of Arab Ambassadors to the Federal Republic of Germany.
He provided a detailed presentation about the developments of the situations in the Yemeni national scene and the Arab supportive role in support of the Yemeni people.
Al-Brakani stated that the political leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has opted for peace choice; supporting the UN-led peace efforts by the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Yemen to make peace and restablish security and stability.
He reiterated that Yemen won't be a venue where the Iranian scheme in the region is carried out; underscoring the importance of backing the legitimate government's efforts and the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to counter the Iranian plan and put an end of the Houthi militia's coup.
The Speaker of the Parliament said "The Yemeni peoples have great hope of the German supportive role in supporting their own fair cause, I'm saying so due to the historic Yemeni-German relationship and Germany has good record of supporting Yemen in different fields".
