Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Yemen's Parliament, US Department of State discuss latest developments

The Parliamentary Delegation Headed by Deputy Parliament Speaker Abdulaziz Jubari discussed Thursday with US Under Secretary of State for Arab Gulf Affairs Tim Linder King latest developments in Yemen and the region and common concerned issues.

The meeting dealt with Houthi militia's aggressions and violations against Yemeni people, their imposed siege on cities, recruiting children as soldiers and using them as human shields in frontlines of battlefields, as well as looting humanitarian assistances, which complicated people's suffering.

The delegation confirmed that Houthi rebel militia does not believe in peace and peaceful power transfer and that Iran's support and blatant interferences complicated peace efforts as Iran's agenda is spreading chaos in Yemen and the region.

The delegation demanded also the international community to stop Iranian interferences in Yemen and destabilizing the region through its hands in the region, noting to Houthi threat to international maritime navigation.

The parliamentary delegation praised US positions supporting Yemen and its legality in different stages for regaining the state, fighting terrorism and permanent confirmation on Yemen's unity and national goals.
