Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik stressed the importance of accelerating the rehabilitation of al-Hesswah electricity station in the city of Aden.
His remark came as he met Wednesday in the interim capital Aden with Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Mohammed al-Annani, a number of senior officials in the Ministry and the Deputy Manager of the implementing Ukranian Company Alexander Sheptiyok.
Sheptiyok briefed the Prime Mininster on the work in progress to finalize the remaining parts of the project.
Eng. al-Annani cited the needs of the two governorates of Abyan and Lahj of the purchased power to meet the shortages of electricity supplies.
