Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population for Primary Healthcare Sector Ali al-Walidi discussed Sunday with Director of World Health Organization office in Aden Dr. Nuha Mahmoud efforts for facing Coronavirus.

Al-Walidi reviewed measures taken by the ministry for constructing Quarantine Center in ground, marine and aerial outlets and equipping it with different materials, pointing to readiness of the health quarantine room at Aden International Airport to examine all new comers to Aden Airport, especially from countries where the virus exits.

He praised efforts of the organization for supporting the government's efforts and quick response during epidemics.

He pointed out to the ministry's awareness plan to be carried out through all social media means, mosque preachers and students on the disease's dangers and means of protection against it, calling all media outlets to be credible and getting information from its state sources while reporting on the virus.

For her part, Mahmoud reviewed efforts of the organization helping the ministry of public health, pointing to keenness of speeding up covering the ministry's plans after discussing them.
