Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

PM issues decree by reforming Anti-Money Laundering and Financing Terrorism National Committee

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik issued a decree about reforming Anti-Money Laundering and Financing Terrorism National Committee (AMLFTNC).
The decree stated that the AMLFTNC shall be restructured and chaired by Ahmed Ahmed Ghalib and the representative of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Hussein Abdruhman al-Mehdar a deputy chair of the committee which includes 17 members represent all ministries and government's authorities in charge in addition to representatives of the association of the banks and Commerce and Industrial Chambers.
The committee will undertake exercising the tasks and duties delineated in the Law of Countering Money Laundering and Financing Terrorism.
The Prime Minister ordered to invigorate the committee's role as soon as possible.
