Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah discussed Monday with the delegation of the Turkish IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation Headed by Mohammad Farooq humanitarian needs in the province.
During the meeting, Miftah was briefed by Farooq on the nature of the visit, which targets evaluating humanitarian activities and programs carried last year 2019 via its local partner Islah Charitable Society and evaluating the humanitarian situation in Yemen for interventions.
The delegation pointed to the sort of the humanitarian aid carried out last months in fields of relief, water, sanitation, health and social protection.
Miftah praised the humanitarian role played by the Turkish foundation for alleviating burdens of the displaced people in the province, which received big numbers of displaced people above its capabilities of services under difficult humanitarian situation.
