Yemen participated in the meetings of the International Development Association (IDA) - the World Bank, held in the Swedish capital Stockholm today with a representing delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basoheib.
The meeting which brought together a number of world countries discussed the World Bank's plans for the next year 2020, and the WB's financing of many development projects in various fields in a number of countries, including Yemen.
Basoheib stressed the importance of Yemen’s participation in IDA meetings to discuss development plans and the World Bank’s approval of a number of important projects for countries facing major economic challenges, such as Yemen.
