Acting-Minister of Water and Environment Eng. TawfiqAshargabi met Monday with, Executive Director of the UN Environment Program and Under-Secretary-General of the United NationsInger Anderson.

The session held on the sideline of the COP25: UN Climate Change Summit in Madrid.

They discussed the proposal of the national plan for adaption and assessment of technological needs and small support activities as well as the notion of establishing Early Warning Center in Socotra Island.

The conversations also touched upon Safer floating oil reservoir's potential risks in the Red Sea because of Houthi militia's rejection to allow the UN's team access the tank to conduct necessary maintenance.
