Sixteen employees from Yemen's Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation participated in a training program in modern irrigation systems (second stage) organized by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in cooperation with the University of Jordan, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Eng. Ahmed Al-Zamki, told Saba this training comes within the framework of technical cooperation provided by the Japanese government to Yemen indicating that the participants will receive knowledge about the field of design, installation and maintenance of modern irrigation systems and the use of solar energy and in the field of water harvesting.
