The The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen launched Monday a number of development projects in fields of health, water, education and roads here.
The program also signed contracts with contractors, who will carry out asphalting projects of Hazm city, the capital of Jawf and carrying out maintenance work to a number of schools in the city under the sponsorship of local authority.
Deputy Governor of Jawf Abdullah al-Hashidi confirmed significance of these projects, which will help in improving development. He also confirmed keenness of the local authority on providing all facilitations to the Saudi program for implementing the projects.
He thanked Saudi government and praised the program's efforts for supporting development and reconstruction in Yemen.
For his part, the Saudi Program's Envoy Mashari al-Balawi said the program will implement a number of projects in fields of health, education, water and roads and start the work early next week, pointing out that there are future projects to be carried out in Jawf.
