Yemen's Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadhrami said the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement between the government and the Southern Transitional Council is one of his government's key priorities.
In a meeting with the Director General for Bilateral Affairs at the Belgian Foreign Affairs Ministry Anick Van Calster, al-Hadhrami said the country's Prime Minister and his Cabinet are back in the temporary capital Aden and are working on re-normalizing life in the government's interim seat by doing state business especially supplying public services.
The minister said "any obstructions to the deal won't serve the process of peace and will only play into the hands of the Houthi militia and Iran in Yemen."
The minister condemned the Iranian handover of the Yemeni diplomatic mission premises in Tehran to the Houthi militia's self-styled ambassador.
Calster, on her part, affirmed her country's support to the Yemeni government and to Yemen's security, sovereignty and unity.
