Under-Secretary of Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs Dr Mansour Baggash met Sunday here with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Timothy Lenderking.

The session held on the sideline of al-Manama Dialogue. Baggash's conversations with Lenderking focused on the latest developments in Yemen in light of Houthi militia's intransigence and rejection to come to peace.

Baggash touched upon the legitimate government's efforts aiming to make peace, re-establish security, stability in Yemen and the Red Sea region and Bab Al-Mandab Strait.

Lenderking reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government, Yemen and peace efforts.
