Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Deputy Prime Minister Dr Salim al-Khanbashi praised supportive stances of the Chinese government in support of the Yemeni government and people in different fields. His statement came as he was meeting Thursday with the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yong.
Al-Khanbashi's conversations with Yong focused on the latest political developments have been taking place in Yemen including the signing of Riyadh Agreement between the Government and South Transitional Council.
The Deputy Premier stated that the government is very keen on implementing the Riyadh Agreement to joint efforts and resources in the battle against the militia's coup.
The Chinese Ambassador reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government and the efforts aiming to make peace in Yemen. Mr Kang applauded Riyadh Agreement, wishing that it will be implemented.
