Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdumalik praised the unwavering US support for the Yemeni government and for Yemen's unity and territorial integrity in the face of the Iranian maliciously destructive role.
In a meeting with the US ambassador to Yemen Christopher Henzel here today, Abdumalik pointed to the Iranian sponsoring of sectarian militias in the region's countries, saying Yemen has not and will not be a launch pad for the Iranian threats to international navigation and the security of neighboring countries.
He said that Yemen with support from the Saudi-led Arab Coalition is determined to fail the Houthi Iranian plot and finish the mission of restoring the Yemeni state.
The premier and the US ambassador discussed the bilateral Yemeni-US efforts to combat terrorism and extremism.
Talks also went over the latest Riyadh Agreement of partnership between the Yemen government the Southern Transitional Council.
