Yemen's Ambassador to Jordan Ali al-Amrani discussed Thursday with the Secretary General of Jordanian Labor Ministry Farouq al-Hadidi situations of Yemeni laborers in Jordan.
Al-Amrani touched upon Jordanian Labor Ministry's decision on regulating situations of incoming labor, including Yemeni labor and difficulties facing them.
For his part, the Jordanian official confirmed significance of regulation process during exemptions from fines and the necessity that Yemeni labor in Jordan should go to sectors not assigned to Jordanians, uttering readiness of concerned bodies' cooperation on this issue.
He also confirmed that industry and restaurants are subjected to calculation and percentage and Yemenis are welcomed within ratios allocated to non-Jordanians in these sectors preconditioninghaving licenses ortheir situations corrected to those who have no licenses or with expired licenses.
He praised Yemeni laborers for getting respect of Jordanian work owners and the Jordanian society.
