Info. Minister: Houthi militia continues looting employees' food portions

Minister of Information Mua'mar al-Iryani has said Iran-backed Houthi militia continues looting food supply allocated by World Food Program to a number of government institutions' employees, including al-Thawra Corporation for Journalism and Press.

" A number of al-Thawra Corporations' employees in Sana'a unveiled receiving phone calls from World Food Program for the second time confirming arrival of their food portions," said al-Iryani in a statement to Saba Thursday .

"They confirmed not receiving any allocations for the three past months despite publishing the issue by media months ago on systematic looting of their portions during the past months."

Al-Iryani demanded the WFP to reconsider its activities in Houthi-held areas and evaluate broker organizations' performance, mostly under Houthi control, pointing to working on providing the humanitarian assistances to the needy people.
