Yemen Women Union, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor discussed Wednesday the legal protection project to victim children and juveniles.
The meeting was organized by Yemeni Women Union (YWU)and financed by UNICEF.
The meeting also discussed ideas and observations presented by the project's participating teams in Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadhramout and Mahra.
It also included training sessions on principles of protecting weak children and services provided to them.
The Director of Training and Projects of the YWU's Executive Office Wafa'a Ahmad Ali confirmed significance of the meeting for organizing and drafting the ideas provided by the teams to define services to be provided by the project.
For his part, UNICEF's Aden Office Protection Director Mujeeb Sultan said the project provides protection and psychological support and shelter to children who are subjected to physical and verbal violence and homeless.
