Speaker of the Parliament has called on parliamentarians from different parts of the world not to draw information on Yemen from biased media.
Addressing the 141st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Belgrade today, Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani called on the parliamentarians to only draw on reliable sources as for information regarding the ongoing conflict between the Yemeni government and Houthi radical rebels.
He called on the parliamentarians to put pressure on the militia to stop its various violations against Yemeni parliamentarians.
He said the militia is locked in a wide variety of human rights abuses when the government has been demanding an end to their coup and return to peace.
