Fishery Wealth seeks KSrelief's support to fish sector

Minister of Fishery Wealth Fahd Kafayen discussed Tuesday with Assistant of General Monitor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Activities (KSrelief) Ahmad al-Biez cooperation between the ministry and the center and supporting fish sector in Yemen.
Kafayen praised efforts of the center's staff, confirming significance of emergency interventions and humanitarian activities in fish sector.
He reviewed emergent needs for supporting and rehabilitating fish sector in flood-affected areas and their effects on the fishermen's livelihood.
He pointed out that an implementation mechanism have been approved for the center's interventions for providing fishermen with boats and motors, qualifying fish unloading centers and markets, rehabilitating al-Ghuwaizi Factory for Canning Fisheries and creating quality centers and labs in addition to supporting coastal women.
The KSrelief's official confirmed significance of sustainable partnership between the center and the ministry for implementing a number of relief projects in fishery sector.
