Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Ibtihaj Al-Kamal, said the Yemeni government is keen on looking after the elderly, praising their past contribution to the development of society and serving the country.
In a statement she said that her ministry has prepared a national strategy for catering to the elderly in partnership with other relevant ministries and authorities.
The care strategy covers health and social care, represented in providing comprehensive care for the elderly, in cooperation and coordination with donors and international organizations.
