The Yemeni Charge d'Affaires in Pretoria, Ahmed bin Hassan discussed on Thursday with the Deputy Director of the Middle East and Asia Department at the South African Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
Bin Hassan gave the South African official an account on the ongoing developments in Yemen and the atrocities of the rebel Houthis and Southern Transitional Council militias in Yemen's north and south, stressing the importance of South Africa's support to Yemen through its membership in the UN Security Council and Human Rights Councils.
For his part, the South African Foreign Ministry official affirmed his country's support for the Yemeni sovereignty and for the legitimate Yemeni government.
