Minister of Human Rights Mohammad Askar discussed Wednesday with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet Jeriathe UN Senior Experts' Reports on Yemen.
Askar said that the report did not include many issues; major crimes by Houthi militia against civilians, government efforts which included signing a treaty with the UN and forming a joint committee for limiting recruiting children as soldiers, ministry of human rights' effort for protecting human rights and neglected support of Arab Coalition to Yemen in field of relief.
He confirmed joint coordination between the ministry and the UNHCHR regarding capacity building and boosting human rights protection in Yemen.
For her part, the commissioner praised efforts of the government in monitoring human rights violations and facing them, pointing out that she has confidence that the ministry has exerted efforts for defending human rights across Yemen.
She confirmed the commission's support to the ministry for providing it with needs and capacity building.
