The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Ambassador Naji pointed to UAE- backed Southern Transitional Council's armed rebellion, confirming Yemen's aspirations for more cooperation with Hungary, especially in educational fields.
For his part, the Hungarian official praised historical relations between the two countries, confirming that his country's government is closely following up situation developments in Yemen and supports UN efforts for ending the conflict peacefully.
He confirmed his country's support to Yemen's unity, stability and sovereignty.
