Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed Sunday with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Yousof al-Othaimin the organization's active role for supporting Yemen and its government, especially its firm position towards Houthi coup.
The two parties also discussed Yemen's active participation in cultural activities of the OIC.
Al-Hadhrami acquainted al-Othaimin with latest developments of peace process, including Hodeida Agreement and Houthi militia's stubbornness hindering any progress in this regard.
He also reviewed aftermaths of armed rebellion by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council in some southern provinces and UAE blatant air raids against national army's forces in Aden and Abyan, confirming that the Yemeni people with support from brothers in Saudi Arabia will be able to overcome small projects and overcoming this stage.
For his part, al-Othaimin confirmed fixed position supporting the government, hoping that Yemen will overcome its ordeal and regain its security and stability.
