Yemen's Ambassador to Oman Khaled bin Shuteif and the director of the Arab East in the Omani Foreign Ministry Mubak al-Makheeni have discussed ways of enhancing the bilateral relations between and the latest developments in Yemen.

Talks went over the armed escalation by the separatist Southern Transitional Council militia sponsored by the United Arab Emirates in Aden and the UAE air raids against the Yemeni government forces when they tried to retake the capital Aden late last month.

Shuteif appreciated the support that the government and people of Oman offer to Yemen; the support for Yemen's unity and security and the humanitarian assistance.
