The governor of Marib Sultan al-Eradah and the Country Director of the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) Nadwa al-Dawsari discussed in a meeting today the efforts of CIVIC including its training of local police in treating in treating civilians in times of conflict.
The governor welcomed CIVIC's activities in promoting humanitiarian and civil situations in the country.
He affirmed that the local authority aims to promote civility and attaches special importance to building capacities of the state institutions in the government-held province that accommodates large numbers of Yemenis who have escaped Houthi persecution in the country's north and west.
