Yemen, Japan discuss STC's rebellion

Charge D' Affairs at Yemen's Embassy here Basheer Qasim discussed Tuesday with Assistance of Japanese Foreign Minister recent developments in Yemen led by UAE-backed Transitional Council's rebellion against the state and committing humanitarian crimes.

Basheer confirmed that Iran-backed Houthi militia remains the key problem facing Yemen and the region as militia threatening security in the whole region and affects maritime navigation at Bab al-Mandab Strait.

For his part, the Japanese official confirmed his country's support to Yemen and keenness on Yemen's unity and sovereignty.
