Yemen's Ambassador to Havana Mohammad Nasher acquainted Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at Cuban Foreign Ministry Hector Igarza Cabrera with latest developments in Yemen and issues of common concern.

The meeting also tackled a number of issues in Yemen including efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen for realizing peace and Houthi militia stubbornness in realizing peace process.

Nasher reviewed recent and quick incidents in Aden and Abyan and targeting state's institutions by the Transitional Council, pointing to government's denouncement to UAE's air strikes against government's forces in the two provinces.

For his part, the Cuban official confirmed his country's permanent and fixed position supporting Yemen, its unity, security and stability, as well as its internationally recognized government under President Hadi.

He pointed to Cuban support to UN envoy's efforts for realizing peace.
