Government engineers have started repairing the power grid of Ataq the provincial capital of Shabwa that went under a fierce attack by separatist paramilitary militias over the past two days.
Power was out in the eastern Yemen city for the fifth day today after the clashes between the heavily armed militants of the Southern Transitional Council and government forces.
The engineers started working to repair the damaged grid today.
