The Houthi militia controlling the capital Sana'a have committed 2726 violations of human rights in the city and the overall province during the first half of 2019, a report has found.

The report, by Shohood Human Rights Organization, said the violations included the murder of 19 people, abduction of 266 people, enforced disappearance and torture of 110 others and recruitment of 162 child soldiers.

Hundreds others including women and children were wounded, intimidated and forced to en mass displacement.

As many as 724 of the violations were committed as a collective punishment against civilians, read the report, demanding the international community to rush to the rescue of civilians living under the radical militia's rule.
