The meeting discussed key emergency projects associated with improving livelihoods in affected coastal societies and continuous support to fishermen for improving their livelihoods.
Minister Kafayen confirmed significance of qualifying fishery sector's establishment and helping fishermen via marketing fisheries and other services.
He praised efforts of the organization in field of supporting fishery sector, confirming keenness of the ministry on cooperation and partnership with organizations supporting fisheries and its efforts for coordination with concerned bodies for defining needs.
