Transport Minister inspects constructional work in Aden Airport

Minister of Transport Saleh al-Jabwani inspected Monday finalizing the last phase of emergency maintenance work at Flight Runway "Taxi Y" in Aden International Airport with the cost of YR 40 million financed by the government.
Al-Jabwani confirmed that these works will facilitate aviation movement inside Aden International Port within development projects accomplished in the past few years and included maintenance of flights runways, providing x-ray for security purposes and improving airport security.
He praised the role of the Arab Coalition in providing necessary support for financing development projects in the airport, praising efforts of the leadership of the airport and its cadre in improving services to travellers.
For his part, Acting Director of Aden International Port Abdulraqeeb al-Amri told Saba that asphalting works at the runway has been accomplished today after destruction caused by Houthi militia's triggered war on Aden in 2015.
