Deputy Premier Salem al-Khanbashi has confirmed the commitment of the political leadership, represented by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, to taking preventive measures to fight corruption.
Addressing a meeting of national experts to track the implementation of the UN Convention Against Corruption, he affirmed the government's support to the Supreme National Authority Against Corruption to boost its function.
He cited Yemen's joining of the convention in 2005 and issuance of supportive legislations including the Financial Disclosure Law and the Corruption Fighting law.
