Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Info. Minister warns of child recruitment by Houthi militia

Minister of Information Muamer al-Iryani warned that Iran-aligned Houthi militia will exploit summer camps in its controlled areas to recruit children into its ranks and instill ultra-conservative and sectarian religious doctrine.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) al-Iryani said" Houthi militia has continued to kill Yemen's children by recruiting thousands of them and getting them engaged in front-line battles".

He noted that the so-called pupils summer centers are nothing but closed terrorist military camps supervised by Iranian experts and trainers, they recruit children and promote extremist sectarian religious attitudes among the young generation.

The Minister warned of the serious consequences of child recruitment and promoting extremist and sectarian religious doctrine in Yemen." This is will have divisive and destructive impacts upon national unity social fabric of the Yemeni society", said al-Iryan.
