Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Yemen condemns Houthi militia's attack on Abha airport

The Foreign Ministry strongly condemned Iran-aligned Houthi militia's terrorist attack against Abha's international airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which resulted in wounding 9 civilians.
In a statement published by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the Foreign Ministry said " The continuation of Iran-backed Houthi militia's terrorist operations in which the militiamen deliberately target civilians and civil facilities constitutes flagrant violation of International Humanitarian Law and all international conventional norms".
The statement added " These terrorist attacks against civil facilities show that the rebel militia intentionally disrespects international laws and conventions, such terrorist operations also are clear evidence of Iran great influence on the Houthi militia".
The Foreign Ministry called on the International Community (IC) namely International Security Council to condemn these terrorist acts and press for implementing the international resolutions in relevant to eliminate the coup and reinstate official authority in Yemen".
