The National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR)held Sunday elaborated meeting with ambassadors and representatives of member countries in Human Rights Council and other ambassadors to Yemen on human rights' situation in Yemen.
In the meeting held at Yemen's Embassy here, the committee discussed its role in investigating violations claims in the past, serious International Humanitarian Law's violations and dangerous violations of Human Rights committed against Yemeni people.
The Head of the NCIAVHR Judge Ahmad al-Muflihi talked about significance of the committee's task as a sole field mechanism on the ground, which is considered a gain to victims of violations for keeping their rights and reparation to them.
He pointed to challenges facing the committee's activity, calling the international community to support the committee.
The committee presented a show on stages of its activities in fields of monitoring, documenting, investigating and field visits to areas of violations.
For their part, the ambassadors and diplomats praised great success accomplished by the committee, confirming significance of continuous support to it by Human Rights Council.
