Vice President ( Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Wednesday with the Chinese Ambassador to our country Kang Yong.

The session aimed to discuss the latest developments in Yemen an bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

The Vice President highly praised China's support for legality, security and stability in Yemen. He also praised historic cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and people in different fields.

Discussions touched upon underway efforts to implement Stockholm Agreement, blaming Iran-backed Houthi militia for not putting the agreement in place.

The Vice President reiterated the government's commitment to establish peace that based on the three well known terms of reference.

The Chinese Ambassador stated that China is interested in re-establishing security, stability and durable peace in Yemen.
