Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to Moscow Ahmed al-Woheishi met on Thursday with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Special envoy of the Russian President to the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov.
Yemeni-Russian bilateral ties and cooperation was a key focus of al-Woheishi's conversations with Bogdanov.
Al-Wohweishi briefed Bogadanov on the latest developments in Yemen including the Yemeni government's reaction to the unilateral withdrawal by the putschist militia from Hodeidah's seaports, al-Salif and Ras Issa.
Al-woheishi stated that the legitimate government is committed to the UN's resolutions and Stockholm Agreement that stipulates withdrawal operations and redeployment should be carried out under monitoring by a trio committee includes the UN and Yemeni government and Houthi rebels.
Discussions also touched upon the outcomes of President Hadi's recent meeting with the Under-Secretary General of the UN who offered guarantees by the UN Secretary General will adhere to the three terms of references and UN's resolutions in relevance.
For his part, Bogdanov reiterated Russia's stance in supporting Yemen and the UN's good offices to make peace.
