Yemeni-Kenyan historic r relationship and cooperation was a key focus of Ma'een conversations with Kenyatta.
Aspects of coordination between Yemen and Kenya in the areas of trade, security and visa procedures were also touched upon.
The Prime Minister briefed the Kenyan President on the political developments in Yemen, citing the government's efforts to make peace. He also pointed out to Iran-allied Houthi militia's violations against the Yemeni people and the threats the militia poses to international maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
