Prime Minister DrMa'een Abdulamalik met on Thursday with French Ambassador to Christian Testu.

Ma'een conversations with Testu focused on the ongoing developments in the Yemeni national landscape and UN's led efforts to implement Stockholm Agreement and re-established peace in Yemen.

The French's role and supportive stance in supporting legitimate government, Yemen's security, stability and unity was key focus of the discussions.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government's commitment to reach political settlement in order to put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

He touched upon the government's efforts to manage the economic and financial challenges, blaming Houthi militia for deliberately seeking to push the national economy toward overall collapse.

" Houthi' malignant attempts to bring national economy into overall collapse won't be tolerated", said Ma'een.

Underway preparations for a high-profile French delegation visit to the temporary capital Aden were also discussed.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated French government's and peoples' support for Yemen's official government and people.

The French Ambassador reiterated his country's principled stance in supporting the Yemeni government and peace efforts to achieve peace in Yemen based on the three terms of reference.
