Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mohammed Marm met here on Wednesday with Regional Director of International Organization of Migration (IOM) for Middle East and North Africa Carmella Judo.

The session aimed to discuss the problem of illegal migration from the African Horn to Yemen.

Marm handed Judu a report about the measures taken by the Yemeni government to tackle the problem of illegal migration to Yemen.

Separately, Marmmet with the Director of (IOM) in Egypt Tania Basifico. The discussions intended to explore the IOM's support for the Yemeni nationals who fled their own country to Egypt due to the war. It is important to note that there are as many as one million of the Yemenis in Egypt.
