Al-Iryani voices disagreements with British officials' statements about Hodeidah's recent events

Minister of Information Muameral-Iryani had a meeting with several members ofthe House of Commons of Great Britain on Tuesday among of them Mr Alistair Burt , former Minister of State for Middle East.

The session aimed to discuss the latest developments about the situations in Yemen in view of Stockholm Agreement including the recent events in Hodeidah.

Al-Iryani detailed the British MPs about the Yemeni crisis created by Iran-allied Houthi militia's coup and war. He cited the UN underway efforts to implement Stockholm Agreement; blaming rebels for rejecting to implement Stockholm Agreement, prolonging the conflict and Yemeni peoples' suffering and refusing to come to peace.

Concerning to the recent events in Hodeidah and the militia's self-claimed to have withdrawn its militants from the seaports, Al-Irany voiced disagreements with the statements of some British officials.

He called on the UK to press for peace in Yemen by increasing political pressures on Iran and its allied Houthi militia to comply with the International Security Council's resolutions and come back to peace process.

The Minister explained the legitimate government's efforts to establish peace and mitigate the humanitarian crisis.
