The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik received on Tuesday British Ambassador to Yemen Michael Aron.
The session aimed to discuss recent developments about the implementation of Stockholm Agreement about Hodiedah.
Discussions also touched upon government's efforts to normalize situations in the government-held governorates and regions.
Dr Ma'een talked about Houthi militia self-claimed unilateral withdrawal, describing it as one more maneuver by the militia aiming to get around of Stockholm Agreement. He said " They handed over the seaport to elements who are loyal to them".
Ma'een has made it clear that as long as rebels remain in Hodeidah seaports warfare won't stop, simply because they devoted the harbors revenues to finance their war.
Prime Minister touched upon recent developments in the region; citing Houthi militia's military escalation and attacks against economic installations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." These hostile acts have clearly shown that Houthis are a tool used by Iran to destabilize Yemen's security, stability and the region's as well", Ma'een said.
The British diplomat applauded the government's efforts to pay salaries and allay Yemeni peoples' suffering.
