Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Yemen participates in WHO General Assembly's 72 meeting

Yemen Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ali Mujowar participated on Monday in the 72 meeting of the General Assembly of World Health Organization.
The assembly discusses in its meetings held in the UN Palace here on May 20-28 a number of topics, including preparations for facing health emergencies and response to them, boosting health of refugees and migrants, health conditions in under developed countries and means of realizing inclusive health.
Preparations for facing flue, cholera, diphtheria and a number of other health situations will be addressed.
WHO's Director Tedros Adhanom pointed out in his speech to the key role played by the organization for improving health facilities and initial care in a number of countries suffer health weakness.
He confirmed significance of cooperation between the organization and member countries for eradicating dangerous diseases in under developed countries suffering difficult economic conditions.
Yemen's mission in the United Nations here participated also in preparatory meeting of the executive office of Arab Ministers of Health for discussing preparations and decisions to be taken by the assembly.
