LONDON-SABA
Minister of Information Mua'mar al-Iryani has said the government represents all Yemeni people and put into its consideration interests of all Yemeni people led by those under Houthi rebel militia control.
The government will not accept misleading practices by Houthi militia under the pretext redeployment in Hodeida's ports, said al-Iryani in a symposium organized by Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).
Al-Iryani reviewed developments of implementing Stockholm agreement and continuous Hothi militia's rejection of implementing it, as well as its practices and violations during the past five months after declaring the agreement.
He pointed to what happened in Hajour area, when Houthi militia used different types of weapons including ballistic rockets for killing and displacing locals and destroying their homes and possessions, reminding of recent escalation in Dhale' province amid strange international silence.
Al-Iryani renewed political leadership's wish of implementing peace, having just peaceful solutions to end suffering of the Yemeni people and stopping the catastrophic war triggered by Iran- backed Houthi militia, confirming that prolonging the war will only serve Houthi interests.
He welcomed any serious moves for implementing Stockholm agreement, which will contribute in reaching to just and inclusive peace on the bases of the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
