Yemen's Ambassador to Muscat Khaled bin Shuteif met with the chairman of the Majlis A'shura (Consultative Assembly) of the Sultanate Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal al Maawali here on Wednesday.
They addressed the latest developmets in Yemen against the backdrop of the Stockholm Agreement which the Yemeni government and Houthis signed in Sweden on December 13.
Shuteif emphasized the Yemeni government's interest in peace with the rebel militia in line with the agreed upon terms of reference for peace.
The Omani official affirmed his country's support to any efforts meant to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
